As part of the National Trust Conference in Hamilton, this workshop offers an energizing day-long exchange on creative ways to meet the challenges of regenerating Canada’s downtowns.

Downtowns Rising: Creative Solutions to Save Downtowns will draw on expertise and case examples from Hamilton and throughout North America, inspiring participants to imagine what is possible and arming them with creative solutions and best practices for downtown revitalization. The day will combine inspired plenary presentations with a series of mobile workshops in downtown Hamilton that put lessons learned into practice in a real-life setting. Observations and insights gathered will be pulled together and presented back to the host community.
